Employees of Black & Decker recently recognized six of their co-workers for contributions to the company or the community.

Those awarded were: Kelly McAlister, accessories; Peggy DeVeas, central services; Randy Harris, distribution; Dale Miller, product service finance; Susan Wazniak, transportation; and Venable Scott, product service information systems.

Workers received gift certificates for dinner, parking and other recognition items.
