HAMPSTEAD — Students at North Carroll Middle School are involved in student service projects, such as recycling classroom paper and plastic containers from the cafeteria.
In addition, students are raising and lowering the flag each day, making morning announcements and collecting soda cans from the faculty rooms to recycle and raise funds for community service.
Students are also aiding the "Coats for Kids" drive and building boxes for bluebirds to nest in.
Other student projects include team one collecting materials for a family that lost their home, while teams four, five and six are conducting a canned food drive for Carroll County Food Sunday.
Team eight is helping the "Neighbors In Need" program.
