Services for William Paul Ford of Glen Burnie were held Saturday at Barranco and Sons Funeral Home.

Mr. Ford, 77, died Wednesday at North Arundel Hospital of heart failure.

The Maryland native was a staff sergeant in the Army during WorldWar II and owned and operated the Arnold Self Service Grocery store for more than 12 years.

Mr. Ford is survived by his wife, Lois L. Ford; a sister, Suzanne Jacobson of Severna Park; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Alice Louise Crockett of Severna Park took place Saturday at Barranco and Sons Funeral Home. Burialfollowed at Glen Haven Memorial Park.

Mrs. Crockett, 74, died at home Wednesday after a lengthy bout with cancer.

Born in Paris, Mich., and raised in Elkhart, Ind., she worked in the cost accounting and payroll department at Food Machinery Chemical Co. in Baltimore for10 years. She was a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church inAnnapolis, the Craven Country Eastern Star in North Carolina, the Maryland Retreads and the Christian Motorcycle Club.

Mrs. Crockett is survived by her husband, Francis Crockett; a sister, Betty S. Ireland; and a brother, Robert Mills, both of Elkhart.
