Joyce Hall Ludlum, 64, community college secretary

Joyce Hall Ludlum, a retired executive secretary for Anne Arundel Community College, died Friday at the Anne Arundel Medical Center of a cerebral aneurysm. She was 64 and lived in Arnold.

Services for Mrs. Ludlum were being held today at the Barranco & Sons Severna Park funeral establishment, Ritchie Highway and Robinson Road.

She was an executive secretary at high schools in the Anne Arundel County school system before going to work at the community college for nine years. She retired in 1976.

The former Joyce Hall Irvine was a native of Cleveland. After graduating from high school, she moved to the Baltimore area in the early 1950s.

She was married to the late Dr. Robert P. Ludlum, a president of Anne Arundel Community College.

She is survived by a daughter, Candy Hall Carter of Severna Park; a son, Stanley Hall of Cleveland; a brother, Richard Irvine of Cleveland; and two sisters, Alice Seitz of Cleveland and Grace Rains of Kansas City, Kan.
