Two Glen Burnie residents were robbed at gunpoint late Monday night as they were getting out of their car on Americana Circle, county police said.
Police said the 46-year-old woman and 51-year-old man were getting out of their car at about 11 p.m. when three men attacked them.
One of the men punched the woman and took her purse while the other two held the man at gunpoint and took $100 from his pockets.
The men were last seen leaving the parking lot in a dark-colored car. Police could only describe the robbers as black men.
BATTERY CHARGED IN DOMESTIC DISPUTE
A 24-year-old Pasadena man has been charged with battery after police broke up a domestic dispute at his home Monday.
County police said at about 10:30 p.m. officers were called to ahome in the 7700 block of West Shore Road for a domestic argument. When they arrived, a woman there told them her husband was drunk and threatening her.
She said he took all her clothes and threw them out the window, the police report said.
Pete Michael Patterson of the 7700 block of West Shore Road, was charged in the case.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT CHARGED TO 2 WOMEN
County police have charged two women with disorderly conduct after a domestic dispute Sunday in Brooklyn Park.
Police said Officer Joseph Larkin was called to the first blockof Boulevard Place for a family fight at about 11:30 p.m. When Larkin arrived, he saw two women yelling and screaming at each other. The women refused to stop after Larkin ordered them to, the police reportsaid.
Angela Catherine Jones, 29, of the 600 block Drian Drive inPasadena and Evelyn Louise Sparkes, 52, of the 500 block Longwood Street in Baltimore, were charged at the Northern District station.
MANCHARGED WITH ASSAULTING AN OFFICER
A Brooklyn Park man was charged with assaulting a police officer after a traffic stop on Ritchie Highway Monday.
County police said Officer Gary Thorn Jr. was on patrol at about midnight when he saw a man drive through a red light at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Ritchie Highway. The driver refused to stop after Thorn signaled him and continued driving up Ritchie Highway.
The motorist stopped in a driveway of a home in the 100 block of 6th Avenue and jumped out of the car.
After Thorn caught the man, the officer was punched and kicked by the man. According to the police report, the man repeatedly called Thorn the devil.
James Roland McGee, 35, of the 100 block 6th Avenue, was charged with drunken driving, fleeing from police, resisting arrest and assault and battery.
POSSESSION CHARGED TO GLEN BURNIE MAN
A Glen Burnie man was charged with possession of crack after police said they found him with the drug Sunday in Glen Burnie.
According to the police report, officers were called to the 7800 block of Bruton Drive at about 2:15 a.m. for complaints about two men smoking drugs.
When Officer Keith Light arrived, he saw one of the men who fit the description given to police, leaving the area. He stopped the man and asked to search his pockets.
The police report said the man agreed and Light found two small rocks of crack cocaine.
Lonnie Lee Alexander, 19, of the1200 block Kenwood Road, was brought to Northern District station and charged.
GLEN BURNIE TEEN SAYS 3 MEN BEAT HIM
A 16-year-old GlenBurnie boy told police he was beaten by three men at a traffic lightlate Sunday night.
County police said at 8:15 p.m. the boy was driving around when he noticed he was being followed by a blue Pontiac Grand Am. When he stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Old Stage and Quarterfield roads, three teen-agers got out and startedbeating him through the open window of the car.
The boy drove offand called police.
