Easy Drop Danish
1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup jam or preserves
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix margarine, sugar and Bisquick until crumbly. Stir in milk until dough forms. Drop rounded tablespoon two-inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Make shallow well in center of each cookie with back of a spoon, fill with a dollop of jam or preserves. Bake until golden, while warm drizzle with confectioners glaze. To make glaze, mix about one-quarter cup of confectioner's sugar with a few drops of water until a thin glaze developes. Makes 12.
