Services for Demetrius John Coventaros of Glen Burnie will take place at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Demetros Orthodox Church.
Mr. Coventaros, 103, died Sept. 12 of cardiac arrest.
Born in Greece, he lived locally for 26 years and owned the Cove Restaurant in Baltimore for four decades. He was a member of the Greek Cathedral of the Annunciation.
Mr. Coventaros is survived by hislongtime companion, Mary Viola Miller, and several nieces and nephews in Greece.
Services for James Cascio of Millersville took place Sept. 14 at Kirkley Funeral Home. Burial followed at Glen Haven Memorial
Mr. Cascio, 72, died of complications from diabetes Sept. 12 at North Arundel Hospital.
The Baltimore native served with the Army Reserve of the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II. He retired in 1982 after 21 years as a salesman with Southern Uniform Rental.
Mr. Cascio is survived by hiswife, Josephine E. Marchanti Cascio; two sons, Arthur J. Cascio of Severn and Nelson E. Cascio of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a step-daughter, Rosalie Crockett of Glen Burnie; a sister, Josephine Higdon of Linthicum; and three grandchildren.
