Police have issued arrest warrants for three more men believed to have participated in the robbery of the Northeast Gun Shop, in which the shop's owner was killed and a customer seriously wounded.
The robbers stole at least 30 weapons, police said.
The men named in yesterday's arrest warrants are Kevin Terrell Brown, 18, of the 5900 block of Radecke Ave.; Charles Roy Randolph Jr., 22, of the 500 block of Gold St., and Lawrence Bell Jr., 38, of the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave., police said.
Police also are searching for a fourth man, whose identity hasn't been released.
Meanwhile, police continue to look for the stolen guns. They have recovered eight weapons, including an Uzi semi-automatic and a sawed-off shotgun believed to have been used in the robbery, said Dennis Hill, a city police spokesman.
"We're chasing around looking for them," Hill said, adding it's a possibility the firearms may have been sold on the streets.
Killed in the 11:50 a.m. Wednesday robbery, was Charles E. Scheuerman, 53. He died at the Francis Scott Key Medical Center after being shot in the chest and right arm with a shotgun.
Seconds later, the customer, Michael Berman, 42, of Columbia, was shot in the upper back. Berman, an employee of an electronics firm, was listed in satisfactory condition today at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Police believe there were at least two shooters among the eight participants.
Four men went inside to rob the store and four remained outside, police said.
After the shootings, police said the four inside stole the firearms and the eight fled in three getaway cars: a white 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass, a red Volkswagen Fox and a maroon Ford Escort.
About an hour later, police arrested four men in a rowhouse in the 1200 block of Clendenin St., where one of the robbers lived.
They were followed there by officers who spotted the Oldsmobile, after witnesses provided police with a description of the car and its license plate number, which were broadcast over police radio.
Those four are Rodney Demon Brown, 23, of the 1200 block of Clendenin St.; Ulysses Grant Scott, 22, of the 1800 block of Thomas Ave.; Malcolm Michael Bradford, 21, of the 2300 block of Brookfield Ave.; and his brother, Keith Bradford, 21, of the 2900 block of Pendoll Road.
All are charged with first-degree murder, attempted first degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon and two handgun violations, Hill said.
Brown and the Bradford brothers were held without bail overnight at the Western District station pending a bail review hearing today at Wabash District Court, police said.
Scott was held at Central District without bail for a bail review hearing today at the Eastside District Court.
The robbers were beginners, police theorize.
