A gunman robbed a Pasadena yogurt store Monday, county police reported.
Police said an employee of the I Can't Believe It's Yogurt store in the 8100 block of Ritchie Highway was closing for the night when the gunman forced her back into the store.
He forced her and two other employees into a bathroom and took money.
Police described the suspect as a black man about 5-foot-9, with a stocky build and short hair. He was wearing a blue or black shirt and black tennis shoes.
WOMAN BEATEN IN ROBBERY ATTEMPT
A Glen Burnie woman was beaten outside a convenience store Friday night by aman who tried to rob her.
Police said the woman was leaving the 7-Eleven store at the intersection of Route 174 and Old Stage Road at about 10 p.m. when a man motioned for her to come to the side of the store.
When she did, he grabbed her shirt and forced her to the rear of the store. He demanded money, and when she said she had none, he punched her in the face and knocked her out.
When she regained consciousness, she went home and called police.
Police described the robber as a white man in his late 30s with gray hair. He was wearing a blue and yellow shirt and blue jeans.
PIZZA DELIVERYMAN ROBBED ATGUNPOINT
A Pizza Hut delivery man was robbed Saturday in Arnold, county police said.
The driver was looking for Hills Road at about11 p.m. when a man waved him down and asked him how much the pizza cost. When the man turned to the back seat to get the pizza, the robber took out a gun and demanded money.
The man gave him the money and he returned to the store. The robber was described as a black man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall
and wearing jeans.
Police said they have no suspects.
YOUTHS STEAL BIKE FROM BROOKLYN BOY
A 13-year-old boy told police he was robbed of his bike Sunday outside a Brooklyn Park bank.
Police said the boy was riding his bike outside the Household Bank on Ritchie Highway near 14th Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. when three boys walked up to him. One of the boys pushed him off his bike and rode away, police said.
The other two boys ran off, police said.
POLICE INVESTIGATING TWO VEHICLE ARSONS
Annapolis policeare investigating two cases of arson to vehicles in the city last week.
A 1975 Volvo station wagon parked in the 300 block of President Street was set ablaze about 12:30 a.m. Thursday, police said. The fire destroyed the car, worth $1,000.
The other arson, which occurred in the 900 block of Wells Avenue about 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, caused$5,000 in damage to a 1988 Jeep, police said.
Police have no suspects.
