Kyle R. Whitaker, infant, died Sunday at his home. He was the son ofDavid James Williams and DeVonda L. Whitaker. Paternal grandparents Geraldine and William Williams and maternal grandmother Evelyn McNeil, all of Sykesville, survive. Sisters Taijuania and Tia also survive.Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Johnsville Cemetery in Sykesville.

Sarah J. Phillips, 68, died Monday at her home. She was the wife of the late Daniel Phillips. The couple had owned a service station here. Survivors include daughters Joyce A. Cook of here and Diana P. Briscoe of Westminster; sisters Laura Uhler and Ann Knight, both of Finksburg and Patsy Murray of North Carolina; three brothers John Easterday of Baltimore, William Easterday of Baltimore County and Leon Easterday of Westminster; five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, OwingsMills, Baltimore County.

Dorothy B. Austin, 88, died Monday. She was the wife of the late Charles S. Austin Jr. Ahomemaker, she was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Church andthe Maryland Historical Society. Survivors include a son, Charles S.III of Frederick County; daughter, Dorothy A. Alevizatos of Baltimore County; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Fairhaven Chapel, 7200 Third Ave.

Wilma Dean Hockensmith, 55, died Monday at Carroll County General Hospital. She was the daughter of John and Georgia S. Cotingame of here and the wife of Robert J. Hockensmith Sr. She had been employed by Random House. In addition to her parents and husband, survivors include her children David, Tim and Lydia, all of here, Robert Jr. and Julia Startt, both of Littlestown, Pa.; sisters Louis Lucas and Norma Blantz, both of Baltimore, Marsha Henderson of Littlestown, and Nancy Utz of Manchester; brother, John Cotingame Jr. of here, andsix grandchildren. Services are at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary's Lutheran Church, Silver Run.

Christine E. Kuykendall, 18, died Saturday. She was the daughter of Kenneth H. Sr. and Barbara Tipton Kuykendall. Additional survivors include a sister, Ann Krieger of North Carolina; brothers Alan of Baltimore County, Kenneth H. Jr. of California, Kevin and Brian, both of here; grandparents Harold and Liz Tipton Sr.of West Virginia and Louise and Emil Crone of here. Services will beat 11 a.m. today at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, Poplar Hill Road, Phoenix, Baltimore County.

Florence A. Munck, 63, died Friday at her home. She was the wife of Carlton E. Munck. In addition, survivors include a daughter, Joyce M. Von Nordeck of Sykesville; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Mabel A. Logue, 92, died Aug. 14 at Baltimore County General Hosital. She was the wife of William R. Logue for 71 years. She was the mother of the late Dorothy Gordon. A former resident here, she was a lifelong member of Deer Park Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mary Ruth Kirby of Delaware; son, William R. Jr. of Anne ArundelCounty; sister, Myrle Kauffman of York, Pa.; brothers Robert and James Owings of here; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.
