The latest fatal accident occurred about 11:45 p.m. Saturday when Ciscero Plummer, 53, of Landover, was driving south on Md. 202 near Kenmoor Road in Landover when he lost control of his 1973 Buick and struck the median strip.

State Police said Plummer's car then crashed into the rear of a Metro bus that had stopped to take on passengers.

Plummer died shortly before 1 a.m. yesterday at Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly.

Police said none of the bus passengers was injured.

On Saturday, April L. Lada, 20, of the 6900 block of Marlboro Pike, was driving her 1981 Plymouth south on Brandywine Road at 8:55 a.m. when she crossed the center line and ran off the road.

Police said William Lee Anders, 53, of Walkersville, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Fountain Rock Road when he was struck by a northbound car that turned to enter Retreat Road.

Police said Anders, who was not wearing a helmet, was flown by a State Police Med-Evac helicopter to Medstar, where he died Saturday night.

Police said the driver of the car, Clarence Franklin Grams, 58, of Frederick, originally was charged with failing to grant the right of way and that additional charges may be placed against him as a result of Anders' death.
