Emily Stoker, 93, a retired department head at Monumental Life Insurance Co., died Sunday at her home in Rodgers Forge after a short illness.
Funeral services were being held today at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, York and Cedarcroft Roads.
Mrs. Stoker retired 38 years ago as head of the accounting and investment department at the insurance company, where she had earlier been secretary to the president.
Her first husband, Charles G. Linke, died more than 50 years ago, and her second husband, Halbert M. Stoker, died in 1955.
A Baltimore native whose family came from Upper Marlboro, she took part in the 1916 human flag at Fort McHenry.
She had served on the board of the Over 60 Counseling and Employment Service and as a volunteer in the chaplain's office at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
Survivors include two nieces, Margie C. Wade of San Raphael, Calif., and Sue C. Jackson of Miami, and several grandnieces jTC and grandnephews.
