The London Town Publik House and Gardens Summer Living History day camp is still accepting registrations for children in third through sixth grades.
The remaining three one-week sessions are July 15-19, July 22-26, and July 29-Aug. 2. Children attend camp from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. daily. Bus transportation is available. The cost is $85 per child per session, including bus transportation.
The Living History Day Camp emphasizes hands-on participation in and demonstrations of such Colonial activities as wool-carding, candle-dipping, soap-making, spinning and weaving. Campers help to preparean 18th-century meal, see demonstrations of lighting devices, study herbs and their uses and take tours of the house and gardens.
