The Greater Annapolis Chamber of Commerce has named Lisa Sebrowski coordinator of the 1991 Maryland Seafood Festival.

Sebrowski, an account executive with Marlene Prendergast & Associates Inc., a public relations firm in West Annapolis, has been working on the public relations and marketing campaign for the chamber's Great Business Exchange trade show.


Alex Beckman, a real estate agent with Century 21 Moss Realty, has been named exclusive listing agent for two area developments by Pulte Homes and Coscan Homes.

Beckman will represent The Courts at the Provinces, built by Pulte Homes, and the new garaged town houses inthe Severn Oaks community, developed by Coscan Homes.

With 10 years of experience in single-family home construction, Beckman works from the Century 21 Moss office in Odenton.


J.Paul Phelan, Pasadena branch officer of Annapolis Bank and Trust, was selected as AIB Instructor of the Year at the 1991 graduation ceremonies.

Each year, the Maryland Chapter of the American Institute of Banking honors an instructor in recognition of outstanding performance in the classroom and dedication to banker education.

Phelan scored highest in all 12 categories evaluated.

Phelan joined AB & T in 1990 as the branch manager and business development officer of thePasadena branch on Mountain Road.

As an AIB instructor, Phelan teaches commercial lending and principles of banking.


Signet Bank has promoted Christine G. Neary to officer in the firm's retail banking division, where she is manager of the Bay Forest branch in Annapolis.

A resident of Pasadena, Neary joined the bank in 1977 and was named assistant branch manager in 1985.

She is a treasurer of the Bay Forest Merchant Association.

Also, Neary is active in the Greater Annapolis Chamber of Commerce and the Anne Arundel Trade Council.
