The Kiwanis Club of Columbia is sponsoring several Fourth of July activities beginning at noon Thursday and culminating with fireworks atdusk at the Kittamaqundi Lakefront.

Featured activities include atoddler parade at 4 p.m., a concert by the Columbia Brass Band, a United Martial Arts demonstration, Croaker the Storyteller, and music by local bands throughout the day. Food and drink vendors will be available.

The annual Fourth of July dinner and dance, with its spectacular balcony view of the fireworks atop the Rouse Building's Spear Center,will be conducted in conjunction with the Columbia Festival of the Arts. Tickets are $50.
