Signet Bank has chosen Stephen D. Cree of Hampstead an assistant vice president in the equipment finance and leasing division, where he will work as a relationship manager for new and existing customers.
He joins the bank after working for Information Processing Systems as a branch manager and American Finance Group as an account executive.
Cree has a bachelor's degree in economics from Towson State University.

MANAGER IS CERTIFIED
Eileen Johnson, manager of Singer Travel Agency, recently earned the professional designation of Certified Travel Counselor from the Institute of Certified Travel Agents, Wellesley, Mass.
A Sykesville resident, she joins more than 13,000 other travel professionals across the country in earning the CTC title.
To receive the CTC, candidates must acquire at least five years' full time travel industryexperience and complete rigorous travel management courses and a special project. They also must pass four essay exams.
Founded in 1964, the non-profit institute offers continuing educational programs for travel industry members at all career stages, including the CTC andProfessional Management Seminar Series.
