Bays preview

* WHEN: Sunday, 6:05 p.m.

* WHERE: RFK Stadium.

* OUTLOOK: The defending champion Bays (8-0) look to extend their American Professional Soccer League win streak to 17. Goalie Steve Powers hasn't lost an APSL contest since June 29, 1990, and the Bays will be favored to extend those streaks against a Colorado team that first has to play at Albany tomorrow night. The top scorers for the Foxes (4-3) are Ezekiel Doe and Chad Ashton, who plays indoors for the Kansas City Comets. The Bays have scored an APSL-leading 20 goals -- Jean Harbor has eight goals and four assists -- but they'll be without Kevin Sloan, who's No. 2 in the APSL with five goals and an assist. He received his fourth caution of the season last Friday in Salt Lake City, and must sit out a game. Desmond Armstrong is still on the Bays' roster but probably won't suit up anymore in 1991, and fellow National Team members Jeff Agoos and Bruce Murray also won't be available.
