Reduced hours and fewer overdue notices are some of the changes library users can expect as a result of the county budget for fiscal 1992.

Effective today, all branches of the county public library will close at 5 p.m. Fridays. The Annapolis, Crofton, Severna Park and North County branches will continue to stay open between 1 and 5 p.m. Sundays.

Also starting today, the library will mail one overdue notice instead of two. It will be sent 32 days after the due date. Library branches are also distributing "borrowing logs" to help patrons keep track of borrowed materials and limit overdue fines.
