Wanda A. Trawinski, 69, died June 19 at Deaton Hospital here. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Trawinski. Charles W. "Bud" Groft Jr., 51, died Saturday at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore from an ulcer infection. He worked as a yard manager for Condon's Auto Parts in Westminster. Despite the success of recent double-lung transplant surgery, he developed ulcers from medication to prevent rejection of the organs. Survivors include his wife, Anna Sullivan Groft; sons, Charles W. Ruth V. Larkins, 87, died Monday at Baltimore County General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harry J. Larkins Sr. and the mother of the late Harry J. Larkins Jr. A retired bookkeeper, she was a member of the Freedom Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Margaret R. Gail G. Ostwald, 44, died Saturday at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She was the daughter ofMarion A. Garrison of Howard County and the late Lynn W. Garrison. She was the wife of Erich Ostwald. Ivan P. "Dick"Schultz, 69, died Friday at Baltimore County General Hospital. He was the husband of Hollis Wisner Schultz. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post in Hampstead and a repairman for Black and Decker. JamesM. Bennett, 69, died Thursday at Carroll County General Hospital. Hewas the son of Julia A. Bennett of Wicomico County and the late Ollie E. Bennett. A retired carpenter, he was the husband of Edna Mae L. Bennett. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include children Charlotte B. Litchfond of Delaware, Donald J. Bennett, Beverly B. Marvin E. Leister, 64, died Monday at his home. He was the husband of Margaret Crouse Leister. He was a salesman for Reichlin's Farm Equipment here and a member of St. John's (Leister's) Lutheran Church. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, M. Virgil Roberts Rhoten,70, died Sunday at her home. She is survived by her husband, R. Weldon Rhoten. After 35 years of teaching, she retired from the Carroll County Board of Education. She was a member of the state and county Retired Teachers Association and the Westminster United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Gwendolyn R. Welty of here; and sisters, Alice R. Laura Panebaker Darby, 95, died Thursday at the Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Reuben U. Darby. A 1919 graduate of Western Maryland College, she taught biology. Several step-grandchildren survive.

A. Frank Grumbine, 59, diedFriday at Levindale Nursing Home in Baltimore. He was the son of Erma Myers Grumbine of here and the late Charles Grumbine. He was the husband of Pearl Wheeler Grumbine. A former teacher in Carroll County, he was a vocational rehabilitation counselor. A veteran, he was a member of the Assembly of God Church and the Full Gospel Businessmen's Association. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include sons, Charles Grumbine, Robert Grumbine, both of here; daughters, Linda Kohler of here, Erma Grumbine; stepsons, Henry Wheeler Jr., Gary Wheeler, both of here; stepdaughters, Sandra Ames, Betty Lively, both of West Virginia, Peggy Wheeler of here; one grandson, one step-granddaughter.
