Clarence Winterstein Dairy farmer

Services for Clarence W. Winterstein, a Queen Anne's County dairy farmer, will be held at noon tomorrow at the Fellows Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington.

Mr. Winterstein died of pneumonia Wednesday in Kent General Hospital in Dover, Del. He was 77.

At 15, Mr. Winterstein ended his formal schooling to work on his family's vegetable farm in Fullerton. In 1933, he married Ruth Burton of Glenarm and settled in Sudlersville.

Because he enjoyed the outdoors, Mr. Winterstein continued to help his son, Bill, work the dairy andgrain farm after retiring in 1984.

Mr. Winterstein also enjoyed hunting geese and rabbits.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth B. Winterstein; a son, Bill Winterstein; two daughters, Norma Weller and Betty Elburn, both of Sudlersville; three sisters, May Fetch of Belair, and Anna Otto and Rosella Winterstein, both of Baltimore; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
