Beginning today, The Sun is making changes to its daily markets summary that will increase our focus on certain areas of financial activity.

Among the items to be added are daily listings of the indexes for the American Stock Exchange and the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation system (NASDAQ). In addition, The Sun will increase its listings of key interest rates.

To make room for these added features, The Sun will discontinue its listings of futures indexes, bond indexes and spot metal prices -- items that were shown in a recent survey to have relatively limited reader interest.
