Wilton and Louise Goodman, formerly of Perry Hall, celebrated their 50th anniversary April 26. Mr. and Mrs. Goodman, who live in Spring Hill, Fla., are both retired from the Baltimore County government.

Jeffrey Liss, a 1991 graduate of Calvert Hall, was named winner of a public speaking contest last weekend at the National Right to Life Convention in Atlanta. Mr. Liss, 18, the son of Gerry and Gail Liss of Timonium, received $1,500 for his speech on his pro-life belief from the point of view of an adopted child.

Rozz Rottenberg, a science teacher for St. Paul's School for Girls in Brooklandville, has been awarded a fellowship for summer 1991 to conduct research at the National Institute on Drug Abuse and Alcoholism (NIDA).

Amy Yanoff, the daughter of Michael and Deborah Yanoff of Rockville, has been chosen as the recipient of the 1991 Minnie Pearl Scholarship for hearing-impaired students.

Dharmender S. Chona, the son of Sukhbir and Kalwant Chona of Baltimore, has been awarded the C&P; Telephone Scholarship.

Louise and McKinley Green of Edmondson Village celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 18 with the reaffirming of their vows and a reception at Gospel Tabernacle Church.
