Paul G. Hays Jr., owner of Pat Hays Buick, said the dealership will not close when the University of Baltimore takes over the property at Maryland Avenue and West Biddle Street.

A story in Monday's Evening Sun said the dealership would merge, relocate or close. Mr. Hays said yesterday that the dealership will relocate or merge with another dealer, but it definitely will not close.

The university bought the property last month and plans to use it for student parking and law clinics.
