The decision by organizers of a Columbia art exhibit to ban depictions of nudity represents prior censorship, according to callers to SUNDIAL.

Of 420 respondents to our question, 273, or 65 percent, believe the decision amounts to pre-censorship.

The First Annual Visual Arts Competition of the Columbia Festival of the Arts opened yesterday in Columbia Mall.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
