A Victorian festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 15 in Union Square Park, with proceeds to benefit the neighboring H.L. Mencken House, operated by the Baltimore City Life Museums.

The festival--featuring arts and crafts demonstrations and sales, entertainment and tours of homes in the Victorian community-- is sponsored by the Union Square Assciation.

The Mencken House, 1524 Holllins St., the community's historical cornerstone, was the home of the late writer and newspaper editor Henry Louis Mencken from 1883 until his death in 1956.
