THE BALTIMORE SUN

An unidentified man was shot fatally in a Northeast Baltimore row house yesterday morning.

Detective Martin Disney said the man, who appeared to be in his early 30s, was found at 8 a.m. by police in the kitchen area of a house in the 1700 block of Carswell Street.

He said another man -- whom the officer declined to identify -- was in the house at the time of the shooting and called police.

The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:36 a.m.

Detective Disney said police had no information on the weapon and no suspects. He said the victim had been shot several times but declined to be more specific.
