May 19 marked the ordination day of the Rev. Barbara J. Stebbins, pastor of the Annapolis Church of Religious Science.

The ordination service was led by Dr. Robert Karle of Front Royal, Va. Guest speakers included the Rev. John Hone and the Rev. Richard Andreski, both of Annapolis.

Stebbins is a retired registered nurse. She attended Purdue University, Ken Keyes College in Coos Bay, Ore., and completed the five-year course for ministers at Fairfax, Va., in 1989. She has establishedthe Annapolis Church of Religious Science, which is a center for positive living.

Services are 10 a.m. Sunday and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.The summer series is based on the book "How to Heal Your Life," by the Rev. Louise Hay.

The church is located at 830 Bestgate Road, Bestgate Farm.

ThomasRobert Clocker will be ordained in the pastoral ministry at 4 p.m. Sunday at Galilee Lutheran Church, Mountain Road in Pasadena.

Clocker completed his studies at Concordia Theological Seminary of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in Fort Wayne, Ind. He received a master of divinity degree on May 17. While attending the seminary, Clocker served his vicarage at Aboite Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.

Clocker will be serving as pastor of Zion and St. Peters churches in Embarrass, Wis.
