Justin Mascari is an 18-year-old Monkton resident who loves nice clothes. He learned to love Italian cut clothing during his six weeks in Italy last summer. Justin will be entering Loyola College to major in business administration this fall. He's a busy young man, who works as a landscaper on Young Jacobs Choice Farm and at the Fotomat store. He's an avid collector of antiques and raises chocolate Labrador Retrievers.

How would you describe your taste in clothing?

I would say I'm preppy, conservative. I like solid colors and most of my clothes are Polo by Ralph Lauren.

What's the newest thing in your closet?

A red and white rugby Polo shirt that I bought at Cohen's.

What's the oldest thing in your closet?

Probably a tan Polo sports jacket.

Do you have a standby outfit that you wear when you're unsure of what to wear?

I put together beige linen pants, a blue blazer, a pink oxford shirt, and a tie.

What have you held on to for sentimental reasons?

My ex-girlfriend gave me a pair of boxer shorts for Valentine's day that have hearts all over them, and I've kept them for some reason.

Do you have a wardrobe weakness?

Sweaters, whenever I see a good sweater I buy it. In the winter I wear a lot of Land's End turtlenecks and sweaters. I have about 40 sweaters, most are wool, but there I have a good selection of cotton ones too.

What's the most expensive item in your closet?

I have two. One is a red down Polo jacket that cost about $400. My other expensive item is a wool Claiborne sweater.

What's the least expensive item in your closet?

A Vuarnet T-shirt.

What are your favorite accessories?

Just one. I have an Arezzo gold and diamond bicycle pin that a friend in Italy gave me. I wear it on a blazer collar.

If you had a chance to have a quiet dinner with the person you would most like to meet in the whole world, who would that be and what would you wear?

I have always liked Princess Grace's daughters, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie. They are hot looking. If we had dinner in Monaco, I would wear white linen Ralph Lauren pants rTC and a short-sleeved navy blue shirt, with Italian made loafers. In Baltimore, I'd wear beige linen pants with a pink oxford Polo, that's all I have, shirt, a blazer, and a Burberry paisley tie.

Do you have any shopping tips for other young men?

Yes, work lots of jobs or have a dad like mine. Just remember that you can make a killing at sales.
