THB, Banditos, Wayward and more confirmed for Cosmic Cocktail!



Services took place for Millersville resident James I. Collins May 30 at the Fort Meade Post Chapel.

Mr. Collins, 67, died May 27 at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C.

He retired in 1967 from the U.S. Army as a sergeant first class with over 23 years of service. He was currently employed as a reserve technician at 97th ARCOM at Fort Meade, with over 15 years of service.

Mr. Collins was a member of the Folks March Organization of Maryland.

His other interests included gardening and outdoor activities.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Freida Collins; two sons, James I. Collins Jr. of Morristown, N.J., and Thomas Collins of Millersville; a daughter, Susan J. Collins of Sparks; a brother, Chet Collins of Beaver, Pa.; three sisters, Virginia Phillips of Rochester,Pa., Freeda Brooks of Freedom, Pa., and Dorothy Collins of Catonsville.



Private services will be held for Ruth Marie Gaertner Hill.

Mrs. Hill, 87, died of heart failure May 28 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

A resident of Severna Park since 1974, Mrs. Hill was previously employed as a librarian in Darien, Conn., and as a medical assistant at Eudowood Sanitarium in Towson, Baltimore County.

Mrs. Hill was a member of Alanon. Her other interests included classical music and reading.

Her husband, Harold E. Hill, died in 1987.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda A. Worthington of Severna Park, and a grandchild, Lisa Womack of Rehobeth Beach, Del.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
