Harryman House, 340 Main St., Reisterstown, 833-8850....

Harryman House, 340 Main St., Reisterstown, 833-8850. The Harryman House opened in the '80s with a 200-year-old log cabin at its core. An enclosed porch wraps around two sides of the building, affording diners a pleasant view. The menu offers an interesting selection of seafood, poultry and meat, as well as light fare. Harryman's offers a fixed-price dinner -- served daily from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. -- of soup or salad, entree, dessert and coffee for $17.95. A good deal. $$ 1/2 moderately expensive. Szechuan Taste, 7678 Belair Road, 882-6950. Not only Sichuan but Hunan, Mandarin, Cantonese and Polynesian tastes can be satisfied at this attractive Overlea spot. Plump, savory egg rolls and tender won tons stuffed with luscious (if inauthentic) creamed crab were a promising beginning to a meal which, though neither perfect nor flashy, satisfied. $inexpensive. LYNN WILLIAMS Tabrizi's, 1026 S. Charles St., 752-3810. Bravo. Michael Tabrizcooks beautifully and the rooms of the ex-Soup Kitchen glow gracefully. Recommendations from the Mediterranean menu: gagi mish mish; salmon and spinach in a Roquefort cream; an appetizer combination of hummus, baba ghannouj, tabbouleh, homemade stuffed grape leaves and the best falafel around; cornmeal crepes; eggplant rolls; and Greek and Turkish pastries. $$moderate.
