ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Police today were seeking a 36-year-old man in connection with the assault Tuesday night of Walker Milton, 28, of the 2700 block of Maryland Ave., who was working at a concession stand at Memorial Stadium. Police said Milton and a co-worker at the stand got into an argument. Police said the other man picked up a container of flammable fuel and splashed it on Milton, then threatened to set him on fire. Police said Milton's brother, who witnessed the incident, stopped the other man from continuing the attack. Police said the other man fled and that Milton later swore out a warrant for his arrest. Charged in a warrant with aggravated assault is Jack Gibson, of the 1200 block of N. Broadway.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that a Yellow Cab driver was robbed of more than $100 early yesterday by a man he had picked up. Police said the driver, whose name was not available, picked up a fare on Exeter Hall Avenue around 4:30 a.m. yesterday and was directed to the 3000 block of Fenwick Ave. After arriving at the destination, police said, the passenger pulled out a handgun and forced the driver to give up his money. Police said the cabbie turned over nearly $140 to the man, who escaped on foot.

RAPE/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested a 19-year-old man and charged him with the rape of a 13-year-old girl while the victim was staying at the man's home Sunday evening. Police said Mark Haynesworth was charged with rape and is being held at the Eastern District lockup pending a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Lynn Schmidt, of the 1600 block of Waverly Way, reported that someone stole all four tires and wheels from her 1990 Toyota that was parked near her home. Police said the equipment was valued at $800.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police reported that property valued at $200 was stolen from a car owned by Kurt Kuenzel, of the 3300 block of Rosalie Ave., while it was parked near his home. Police said someone entered the vehicle by breaking one of its windows and stole a stereo amplifier and a radar detector.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Eleanor Cristie, of the 4100 block of Mary Ave., reported that after driving away from her home yesterday she realized she had left her purse on top of the car's roof. Returning to where she drove off, Cristie found her purse but not some of its contents -- two silver bracelets, $40 and a ring. Police said the property was valued at more than $1,000.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police said someone broke into a car owned by Floyd Mack, of the 6800 block of Sturbridge Drive, while it was parked near his home and stole an AM-FM cassette stereo radio. Police said the property was valued at nearly $300.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Mary Goodwin, a resident of an apartment in the 4300 block of Clareway, reported she was home when a 74-year-old man she knows entered her home and threatened her with two butcher knives. Police said the man fled and that Goodwin was advised to seek a warrant for his arrest.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Arthur Martin, of the 5700 block of Willowton Ave., reported his car was parked at a service station in the 2300 block of E. Northern Parkway when someone stole stereo radio equipment valued at more than $200.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A teen-age resident of the 2800 block of Christopher Ave. told police that someone stole his bike from the front yard of his home. Police said the bike was valued at $100.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 1300 block of E. Northern Parkway through a kitchen window and stole a VCR from the basement.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police investigating the burglary of a dwelling in the 5200 block of Bowleys Lane arrested a 27-year-old man and were holding him at the Eastern District lockup pending charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner. Police said someone broke into the home yesterday afternoon by kicking in the front door and stole stereo equipment that was valued at more than $1,000.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5300 block of Perring Parkway reported that someone broke into his home and stole two VCRs, a computer game and at least one computer game cartridge. Police said the property was valued at $700.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police said someone entered a room inside the Good Samaritan Hospital Physicians Professional Building in the 5600 block of Loch Raven Blvd. and stole a chrome-plated sink with brass faucets. Police said the sink was valued at nearly $100.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Ronnie Campbell, of the 1600 block of Burnwood Road, reported that someone stole his lawn mower, valued at more than $160.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 3400 block of Kentucky Ave. reported that someone broke into his home and stole a bike, a car phone and other items, all valued at nearly $450.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Brian Hannon, of the 4900 block of Hamilton Ave., reported that someone stole two white Victorian-style chairs from the front porch of his home. Hannon told police the furniture was valued at nearly $250.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of N. Gilmor St. reported that someone broke into his home by forcing a door and stole a VCR and a TV. Police said the value of the property was not known.

CHURCH BURGLARY: Western District -- Members of the God Deliverance Church of Love in the 1200 block of W. Fayette St. reported that someone broke into the building through a side window and stole an air conditioner and two fans. Police said the property was valued at more than $500.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Michelle Lepenna, 21, of the 2700 block of N. Howard St., told police she was walking in the 2700 block of N. Charles St. late Tuesday evening when she was assaulted by a man who struck her in the face with his fist and robbed her of her back pack. Lepenna told police the back pack contained personal property and a small sum of money. Police said the victim did not require medical attention.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A Royal Cab driver reported he was in the 2400 block of Loyola Northway shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday when he was told to stop by two passengers he had picked up earlier. Police said one of the men pulled out a handgun and demanded the cabbie's money. Police said the gunman and his accomplice escaped with nearly $150.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man and were holding him at the station lockup pending charges that he assaulted a woman as she walked on Lovegrove Street and robbed her of property valued at $100. The victim, Laura Kingswell, 25, of the 2800 block of St. Paul St., told police she was walking in the 2800 block of Lovegrove St. around 10:30 p.m. yesterday when she was approached from behind by a man who stole her purse. Later, police arrested a 31-year-old man and were holding him pending charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Sasha Dukar, 27, of the 100 block of W. 27th St., told police she was robbed of her carrying bag containing property valued at $20 while walking in the 3000 block of N. Charles St. Dukar said the man struck her several times on the arms while attempting to rob her of her duffel bag. Police said the man gained control of the bag and fled. Dukar told police the duffel bag contained books and other items.

STABBING: Western District -- Troy Keith, of the 2400 block of Francis St., told police he was near his home late Tuesday night when two men got out of a car and approached him. Keith told police the men then attacked him and that one of them stabbed him in the back with a knife. Following the stabbing, the men got back into the car and drove off. Police said Keith was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police today were seeking a man who attacked Gail Simpson, of the 1000 block of N. Monroe St., while she was in the 500 block of N. Pulaski St. early yesterday and struck her on the arms with an unknown weapon. Police said Simpson was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment and released. Police said the man who attacked Simpson was known to her.

ROBBERY: Western District -- James Thomas, of the 500 block of N. Carey St., told police he was in the 1200 block of W. Lexington St. around 4 a.m. yesterday when he was approached from behind by a man with a handgun who demanded his money. Police said the gunman escaped with less than $10.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police said James Frazier, of the 200 block of N. Amity St., was near his home around 8 a.m. yesterday when he was attacked by two mem, one with a baseball bat. Police said Frazier was struck in the back several times with the bat before the men fled.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Parkville District -- Jaan Sulg, of the 9500 block of Perry Brook Court, told police he was getting out of his car around 11 p.m. yesterday and was standing in the driveway of his home when he was accosted by three men, one with a handgun, who robbed him of his wallet containing an undisclosed sum of money, and his car keys. Sulg told police two of the men then drove off in his 1988 Acura automobile and that the third man involved in the robbery entered a nearby car occupied by a fourth man and drove off.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- Police said Sharon Davis, of the first block of Venus Court, was getting out of her car in front of her house shortly before 10 p.m. yesterday when she was stopped by three men, one with a handgun, who robbed her of her keys. Police said two of the men drove off in her 1988 Pontiac Grand Am and that the third man entered a Lincoln Town Car that was parked nearby and drove off. Police said the trio apparently arrived at the scene in the Lincoln and that it was not immediately known if the men who robbed Jaan Sulg in front of his home also robbed Davis.

Anne Arundel County

ASSAULT & ROBBERY: Severn -- Police today continued their search for two men who assaulted and robbed a woman Sunday as she waited on a street corner near her home for a ride to work. Police said Norma A. Stone, 55, of the 8300 block of Flintlock Court, was waiting for a friend to pick her up and drive her to work around 4:30 a.m. Sunday when she was approached from behind and attacked by two men, one of whom grabbed her around the neck and placed a sharp object at her throat. After robbing Stone of her purse, the men forced her to the pavement and threatened to kill her if she didn't stay there. Police said after the two men fled, Stone ran home and reported the incident. Police said Stone's purse contained personal papers and about $5.

DRUG ARREST: Pioneer Village -- Police arrested a 15-year-old Severn boy and charged him with possession of crack cocaine. Police said officers on patrol in the village over the Memorial Day weekend received information that the youth was loitering near the Pioneer food store on Pioneer and Reece roads and had a large quantity of crack cocaine in his possession. When police searched the boy they found 20 pieces of crack cocaine valued at more than $500. In addition to possessing the cocaine, police also charged the youth with assault and resisting arrest.
