Singles get to mingle at Hunt Valley hTC

THE BALTIMORE SUN

You've perused the personals, hung out at health clubs and frequented fern bars.

Now consider the mall.

Tomorrow, the Hunt Valley Mall becomes a potential hot spot for available men and women when it hosts Single Mingle, a festival for singles, from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Daylong events include a matchmaking service, palm readers and a celebrity singles kissing booth. (Sorry, no lip-to-lip contact here; WMAR-TV's Mary Beth Marsden, Miss Maryland Kimberly Grimm, veterinarian Kim Hammond and others will simply be handing out chocolate kisses.)

Admission to Single Mingle, a benefit for the Maryland Food Committee, is $1. (There are additional fees for some events.) For more information, call 785-3770.

Here's a rundown of special activities:

11:30 a.m.: Aerobics demonstration by the Physical Performance Institute.

Noon: "Simply Divine Date Clothes" fashion show by Macy's.

12:30 p.m.: Cooking demonstration by the "Love Chef," Francis Anthony (author of "Cooking with Love.")

5:30: Free hors d'oeuvres.

6:30: "Lover Shopping" workshop by Martin Gallatin, author of "Lover Shopping: How To Be Married One Year From Today."
