Ernest V. de Moss Cancer specialist

Services for Dr. Ernest V. de Moss, a retired cancer specialist, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the McDonogh School Chapel in Owings Mills.

Dr. de Moss, who lived in Bethesda, died of heart disease May 21 while visiting a son in Plano, Texas. He was 69.

Born in Baltimore, Dr. de Moss attended McDonogh School. He graduated from Princeton University and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, the former Virginia Kimball; two sons, Bruce Tudor de Moss of Plano, Texas, and Reed Kimball de Moss of Rockville; two daughters, Gail de Moss Healey of Riverside, Calif., and Anne de Moss Krainert of Vallejo, Calif.; a sister, Jane de Moss Christopher of Baltimore; and six grandchildren.

The family suggested that donations be made to the Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Montgomery County, 7811 Whittier Blvd., Bethesda, Md. 20817.
