Help fight cancer and enjoy a scenic day of cycling Saturday, June 8beginning and ending at Tydings Memorial Park in Havre de Grace.

Riders, who can choose a 25- or 50-mile scenic route (not a race), are invited to pedal at their own pace and will be able to refresh themselves at rest stops set up by volunteers.

To participate in the event, riders must collect a minimum of $150 in pledges. Volunteers also are needed.

Riders and volunteers will receive a commemorative Bike-A-Thon T-shirt and music, food and door prizes will be provided at the end of the ride.
