"No, I don't think it should be banned. It doesn't really seem cruel. It's not like cockfighting. Unless the kids are gouging them in theside, it's not more inhumane than riding them into battle. . . . It's potentially dangerous for the students, though. Perhaps they shouldwear helmets. But the potential for physical danger is often what makes it fun."
