Services for Evelyn G. Hines, a 57-year resident of Scaggsville, took place Monday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Laurel.

Mrs. Hines, 76, died Friday of complications from liver cancer.

She was born in Landsdowne and graduated from Laurel High School.

Her husband, Leroy Hines, died before her.

She is survived by three daughters: Betty Collins of Venice, Fla.; Jane Meyer of Lithia Springs, Ga.; June DuTill of Placentia, Calif.; a nephew, Donald Baker of Forest, Va.; a niece, Anne Taylor of Laurel; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
