ABDUCTION: Northeastern District -- Jeffrey Bowden, of the 200 block of Southway, reported he was in the 4900 block of Belair Road late yesterday evening and walking toward his car after using an outdoor pay phone when three men, one armed with a handgun, approached and forced him into the vehicle. Bowden told police he was ordered to drive to the 5100 block of Sinclair Lane and get money from an automatic teller machine. After arriving at the ATM, Bowden told police, he got out and was about to enter the booth when the men got out of his car, got into a burgundy-colored Cadillac and drove off. Police said the men did not rob Bowden and that the second car apparently followed Bowden and the three men to the teller machine.
ASSAULT/ARRESTS: Northeastern District -- Police arrested two women in connection with the assault last night of a resident of the Hollander Ridge apartment complex near her home. Police said Adeletha Kennedy, 29, of the 7300 block of Mallory Court, reported that during an incident near her home around 8 p.m., she was attacked by two women who struck her over the head with a baseball bat. Police said Kennedy refused medical treatment and that the women were held overnight at the women's detention center at the Central District station pending formal charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Evelyn Denlein, of the 3700 block of Timahoe Circle, reported she was in the 300 block of N. Gilmor St. around noon Monday when she was accosted by an unarmed man who forced her to give up her purse. Police said the man escaped with cash and property, all valued at about $12.
ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Western District -- Thomas Manning, of the 100 block of Edgewood St., told police he was in the 1900 block of W. North Ave. when he was attacked by a man armed with a knife. Police said the armed man robbed Manning of $12 in cash and then stabbed him in the lower back. Police said
Manning was taken by ambulance to Liberty Medical Center, where he was treated.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 2200 block of Madison Ave. and stole building equipment and tools valued at nearly $1,400. Police said entry was gained through a rear basement door and that hand and power tools, a ladder and other pieces of equipment were taken.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Officials of the Baltimore City Housing Authority reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 1600 block of Vincent Court and stole 14 boxes of floor tiles. Police said the property was valued at nearly $600 and that entry was gained through a rear door.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Herman Auddersch, of the 3500 block of Northway Drive, reported that while his car was parked near his home yesterday, someone removed all four of the car's wheel covers. Police said the property was valued at $300.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Employees of the C&P; Telephone Co. in the 4700 block of Harford Road reported that someone entered a job site in the 7100 block of McClean Blvd. yesterday and stole a telephone computer. Police said the equipment was valued at $2,000.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Charles Chambers, of the 4700 block of Charlton Ave., told police his car was parked near his home yesterday when someone broke into the vehicle and stole a stereo radio and a pair of shoes. Chambers told police the thief also stole the vehicle's license plates and that the total value of the property was $70.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1000 block of Andover Road reported that someone broke into his garage and stole a Honda dirt bike, a 10-speed bike and a lawn mower. Police said the property was valued at more than $1,000.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5000 block of Goodnow Road reported someone broke into her apartment yesterday and stole property valued at more than $2,000. Police said the intruder entered through a kitchen window and stole a compact disc player, several compact discs, stereo speakers, an equalizer and a TV.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Officials of the city Department of Transportation told police that someone stole a parking meter from its post in the 3400 block of Belair Road. Police said the meter was valued at nearly $200.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Howard Miller, of the 1800 block of E. 29th St., reported that while his car was parked in the 2800 block of Fenwick Ave., someone stole the vinyl grille cover. Police said the equipment was valued at $100.
THEFT: Northern District -- Keith Ryles, of the 6100 block of Green Meadow Parkway, reported that while his 1987 Nissan pickup truck was parked near his home over the weekend, someone broke into the vehicle and stole a Star-make .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun and a radar detector. Police said the property was valued at nearly $400 and that entry was gained by using a tool to break at least one of the door locks.
THEFT: Northern District -- Employees of Superior Binding Inc. in the 1700 block of Union Ave. reported that someone entered the property and stole equipment valued at $1,000.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Employees of the Park Hill Child Care Day Center in the 2200 block of Park Hill Ave. reported that someone broke into the garage and stole property valued at nearly $400.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Timothy Carter, of the 1600 block of N. Hilton St., reported he was in the 2000 block of W. North Ave. yesterday afternoon when he was accosted by two men, one armed with an unknown caliber handgun, who forced him to give up his jewelry. Police said the gunman and his accomplice escaped with gold jewelry valued at nearly $1,900.
THEFT: Western District -- Francis Williams, of the 2200 block of Pennsylvania Ave., told police that someone entered her home yesterday and stole more than $100 in cash.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2200 block of W. North Ave. reported that someone broke into her home and stole a VCR, telephone answering machine, a gold watch, earrings, a necklace and a cellular telephone. Police said the value of the property was not immediately known
BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1800 block of W. Fayette St. reported that someone entered his home yesterday and stole roofing supplies and equipment and two ladders. Police said the property was valued at nearly $900.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Charles Bolden, of the 900 block of Harlem Ave., told police he was in the 800 block of W. Saratoga St. early yesterday evening when he was stopped by two men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed him of his gold wristwatch, a bracelet and his school ring. Bolden told police the property was valued at more than $1,000.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Police reported that a teen-age resident of the first block N. Bruce St., was in the 400 block of N. Gilmor St., yesterday afternoon when he was accosted by several youths who forced him to give up his high school yearbook. Police said the book was valued at $7 and that the victim was not injured.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Police said someone broke into a dwelling in the 1900 block of W. North Ave. yesterday and stole a TV valued at nearly $500.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1200 block of W. North Ave. told police that when he returned home yesterday evening he discovered that someone had broken into his house and stolen property valued at more than $1,000. Police said the intruder made off with a TV and two VCRs.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1800 block of N. Pulaski St. reported that someone broke into his home yesterday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. and stole a TV, two VCRs, a camera and a metal box containing cash. Police said the value of the property was not immediately known.
THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Melody Hayes, of the 800 block of Harlem Ave., told police she was in the 1600 block of W. North Ave. yesterday when a woman she knows stole her federal income tax refund check made out to her for more than $1,700. Later, police arrested a suspect in connection with the theft and were holding her at the women's detention center at the Central District station pending formal charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.
THEFT: Western District -- William Adams, of the 1300 block of W. Fayette St., reported that someone entered his house and stole four sets of crystal ware, toiletries and other personal items. Police said the property was valued at nearly $300.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- Police reported a man and his female companion entered the Shell service station in the 600 block of York Road shortly before 3 a.m. today and forced an attendant to give them money from the cash register. Police said the employee gave up an undisclosed sum of cash to the couple, who escaped on foot. Police said the man displayed a handgun during the robbery.
ROBBERY:Towson District -- Employees of the Wawa convenience store in the 6000 block of Falls Road reported they were robbed by two men, one armed with a handgun, who entered the store shortly before 10 p.m. last night and demanded money. Police said the men escaped on foot in an unknown direction.

CHASE/ARREST: Brooklyn Park -- State Police today arrested a man who tried to elude capture when he sped away from a trooper who attempted to stop him for a minor traffic violation near the city-county line. Police said when Trooper John Hurley of the Glen Burnie Barracks tried to stop a car whose driver failed to stay in a single lane on a Brooklyn Park street, the motorist sped off. Following a 12-minute chase at speeds exceeding 50 mph throughout the Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn areas, Hurley stopped the car on Townsend Avenue and arrested the man. Police said William H. Imwold, 29, of the 1200 block of Armistead Way in the city, was charged with multiple traffic violations. Police said Imwold also was wanted by Baltimore County police for violating probation and driving on a revoked or suspended license. Police said Imwold was held overnight at the county Detention Center in lieu of $5,000 and was also being held for Baltimore County police.
DRUG ARREST: Severn -- Police arrested a 27-year-old Hyattsville man over the weekend and charged him with possession of cocaine. Police said Cecil Rex McCalls, of the 8100 block of 15th Ave., was arrested on a warrant Saturday after police entered an apartment in the 1600 block of Circle Road. Police said when narcotic officers entered the apartment they found McCalls in possession of a small amount of cocaine and more than $1,800 in cash. Following his arrest, McCalls was being held in the county Detention Center in lieu of $7,500 bail. Police said the arrest came after narcotic officers received information from a reliable informant.
BURGLARY: Glen Burnie -- A resident of the 400 block of Glen Mar Road reported that someone broke into his home through a window and stole appliances valued at $300.
BURGLARY: Millersville -- Police reported that jewelry valued at more than $1,000 was stolen after someone broke into a home in the 8300 block of Norwood Drive. Police said entry was gained through a window.
