Portland and Chicago will make it to the NBA finals, according to Evening Sun readers and other respondents to "It's Your Call" this weekend.

The Trail Blazers nudged out the Los Angeles Lakers for the Western Division crown, 54 percent to 46 percent among the 384 people who responded. In the Eastern Conference, Chicago was the pick, gaining 198 votes (57.5 percent) to 104 (27 percent) for Detroit and 82 (21.5 percent) for Boston, which was eliminated Friday.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certai segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
