THEFT: Northern District -- John Nahoe, of the 2400 block of N. Charles St., reported that while his $200 bicycle was parked Wednesday in the 3800 block of Falls Road, someone cut a chain that secured the bike and stole it.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of W. 42nd St. reported that someone broke into his outdoor storage shed and stole his bike. Police said the bike was valued at more than $100 and that entry was gained by cutting a lock.

THEFT: Northern District -- Floyd Williams, of the 4100 block of Falls Road, reported that someone entered the back yard of his home yesterday and stole a moped valued at more than $1,000.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 3600 block of Keystone Road through an unlocked basement door and stole property valued at nearly $450.

THEFT: Northern District -- Elizabeth King, of the first block of Warrenton Road, reported that someone entered the front porch of her home and stole a planter valued at several hundred dollars.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said property valued at $400 was stolen from a dwelling in the 5600 block of York Road after someone forcibly entered the house.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of Falls Road reported that someone broke into his home by cutting a screen yesterday and stole property valued at $400.

THEFT: Northern District -- John Hopkins, of the 6600 block of Spring Mill Circle in Deerfield, western Baltimore County, reported that while his car was parked in the 500 block of E. 25th. St. between May 10 and yesterday, someone broke a window and stole an in--- radio and a CB radio, all valued at more than $500.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said someone broke into a dwelling in the 3200 block of Guilford Ave. through a window and stole a VCR and a compact disc, valued at $600.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said a TV and a refrigerator, total value $600, were stolen from a dwelling in the 2700 block of Mathews St. after someone broke in.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that property valued at nearly $100 was stolen from a dwelling in the 5500 block of Todd Ave. after someone got in through a basement window. Police said the intruder made off with a purse containing credit cards, cash and other items.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Terry Campo, a resident of Virginia, reported he was walking in the 3500 block of Tivoly Ave. shortly before 8 p.m. yesterday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $45 and escaped on foot.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1600 block of E. 31st St. reported that someone broke into his garage by prying open the door and stole property valued at $200.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police said a $400 leather coat was stolen after someone broke into an apartment in the 5900 block of Radecke Ave. Police said the thief forced the front door off its frame.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Lizzie Robinson, of the 1200 block of Sheridan Ave., reported that porch furniture worth nearly $200 was taken from her home.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Charlotte Klein, of the 3600 block of Kenyon Ave., reported that someone entered the back yard of her home and took property valued at $300.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Cecilia Bethea, of the 2000 block of E. 32nd St., reported she was quarreling over money with a man she knows at her home yesterday afternoon when he pulled out a handgun and pointed it at her.

BURGLARY:: Northeastern District -- Police said property valued at more than $600 was stolen from a dwelling in the 5900 block of Frankford Ave. after someone entered with a key.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 4600 block of Chatford Ave. reported that someone broke into his home yesterday and stole property valued at nearly $500.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Penny Holles, of the 5500 block of Sarril Road, told police someone entered her apartment yesterday and stole jewelry and a vase, valued at $300. Police said Holles suspects a man she knows of taking the property.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Reginald Phillips, of the 2300 block of Barclay St., reported he was in the 5900 block of Doverdale Drive at the Glen Arm Apartments early yesterday when he was assaulted by a man who stole the keys to his rented car.

STABBING: Northwestern District -- Teddy Cokley, of the 4200 block of Belvieu Ave., told police he was arguing with another man in the 4400 block of W. Belvedere Ave. early yesterday when the man pulled a knife and stabbed him in the back, shoulder and side. Police said the assailant fled and Cokley was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 4600 block of Pen Lucy Road reported that someone broke into her home Wednesday afternoon by forcing a door and stole property valued at more than $400.

SSCHOOL BURGLARIES: Southwestern District -- Police reported that on two occasions someone broke into Southwestern-Walbrook Senior High School in the 200 block of Font Hill Ave. Police said someone broke into the school yesterday and stole nearly $90 worth of property from at least one classroom. Yesterday, between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., police said someone broke into the school and stole construction tools of undetermined value from a storage room.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Police said property valued at more than $250 was stolen from a dwelling in the 400 block of S. Smallwood St. after someone opened a rear window. Police said the break-in occurred yesterday between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Garland Bethune, of the 700 block of N. Monroe St., reported that a man he knows struck him with a baseball bat near his home Wednesday. Police said the assailant escaped and Bethune was slightly injured.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that someone entered a dwelling in the 2200 block of Druid Hill Ave. Wednesday, apparently with a key, and stole a TV, VCR and a .22-caliber rifle, all valued at $2,000.

STABBING: Western District -- Richard Saunders, of the 1100 block of N. Stockton St., reported that a man stabbed him in the right shoulder with a knife in the 1300 block of N. Fremont Ave. early yesterday. Police said the man escaped and Saunders was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he was listed today in good condition.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Jane Thomas, of the 5700 block of Cedonia Ave., reported she was in the 1000 block of W. Saratoga St. yesterday afternoon when a man grabbed her around the neck and ripped off an 18-karat gold necklace, valued at $500.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police said an employee of Park Lane Hosiery in the 1200 block of Mondawmin Mall was about to make a night deposit at a bank near the store around 9:30 p.m. yesterday when he was robbed of the money bag, containing an undisclosed sum, by a man with a handgun.

Baltimore County

KIDNAPPING: Wilkens District -- Jerome Kelley, 31, of the 700 block of N. Chapelgate Lane, told police he was kidnapped yesterday by two men, one with a handgun, who forced him to drive them to Howard County, where they assaulted him and robbed him of more than $100. Kelley told police he was sitting in his parked car in front of a liquor store in the 5600 block of Baltimore National Pike around noon when the men forced their way into the car and ordered him to drive west. Kelley said that after entering Howard County, the men ordered him to drive to a field. There, Kelley said, he was forced out of the car, struck several times and robbed of his money. Kelley reported he was able to get back into his car and drive home, where he called city police. They took Kelley to the Wilkens District station, where he told police there what had occurred. No arrests have been made, police said.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- A man with a shotgun robbed the High's dairy store in the 3000 block of N. Rolling Road of an undisclosed sum around 11:30 p.m. yesterday. Police said that after the man entered the store, he displayed a shotgun that was partially covered with a shirt. After the clerk gave him money from the cash register, the gunman escaped on foot.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- Diego Tamayo, of the 7100 block of Rolling Bend Road, reported he was walking near his home shortly after 11 p.m. yesterday when a man with a handgun stopped him and stole his wallet and cash.

Anne Arundel

SHOOTING: Severn -- Stephen Pillis, a 24-year-old Associated Cab driver, told police he was shot yesterday evening during a robbery attempt on Deerfield Road in the Warfield Homes development. Pillis told police that about 10:20 p.m. he picked up two men outside the Western Auto supply store in the Chesapeake Square Shopping Center, on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. The fares directed him to Deerfield Road. There, Pillis told police, the men got out of the cab and one of them pulled out a gun and demanded his money, but he refused to give it up. Pillis said the gunman shot him in the shoulder before the men fled into a nearby woods. Police said Pillis drove to North Arundel Hospital, where he was treated and listed today in good condition.

ROBBERY TRY: Glen Burnie -- Police today continue to search for a man who cut an employee of Vizzini's Pizza with a knife during an attempted robbery. Police said a man entered Vizzini's, in the first block of Aquahart Road, this week and demanded money, saying he needed it to leave the country and return to his home. Police said that when the employee refused, the man pulled out a knife. During a struggle, the employee was cut on the hand. Police said the armed man fled without taking any money and that the injured employee was taken to Harbor Hospital for treatment and released.

VANDALISM: Severn -- For the second time in a week, marked police cars parked outside the homes of off-duty officers have been vandalized and property stolen. Police said three county police cars parked in front of officers' homes in Severn and Glen Burnie were broken into Monday and that nightsticks and flashlights were stolen. In one case, someone removed a policeman's cap from inside the car. Last week, a police car parked on a Severn street and another parked in front of a Millersville body shop were broken into and property taken.

ROBBERY: Pasadena -- Police said a man robbed an official of a bowling league of a briefcase containing an undisclosed sum of money that was to have been awarded to members of the league after a bowling tournament. Police said the woman was about to enter the Fairlanes Bowling Center in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway Monday night when she was pushed from behind by a man who grabbed the briefcase she was carrying. Police said the man was seen running toward a nearby apartment complex. Later, the man was spotted by an off-duty Secret Service agent, who gave chase but was unable to catch him.

BURGLARY: Glen Burnie -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the first block of Phyllis Drive through a door and stole jewelry and cash, all valued at $500.
