Services will be held for Severna Park resident Lucy Carnevale at 11a.m. today at Church of the Ascension.

Mrs. Carnevale, 88, died of heart failure Thursday at North Arundel Hospital.

Born and raised in Italy, she came to the United States in 1920 and lived in Williamsport, Pa., until three years ago.

A member of Church of the Ascension in Williamsport, she also enjoyed knitting.

Her husband, Dominick Carnevale, died in 1972.

She is survived by five sons, John Carnevale of Media, Pa., Frank Carnevale, Jerry Carnevale, Joseph Carnevale, and Peter Carnevale, all of Williamsport; two daughters, Helen Allgaier of Severna Park and Virginia Marchese ofWilliamsport; a sister; a brother; and 21 grandchildren.
