Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Gregory W. Belmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. N.W. Belmore of Jessup, recently returned from deployment to the Middle East.

Steven A. Bell, son of Paul and Delores Bell of Mount Airy, has been promoted in the U.S. Air Force to the rank of technical sergeant.

GRIER FINISHES COURSE

Air Force Reserve 2nd Lt. Kimberly S. Grier has graduated from the flight nurse course at the School of Aerospace Medicine, Brooks Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Grier, a 1988 graduate of South Carroll High School, is the daughter of Mary Jane Wilson of Mount Airy.
