SERVICE STATION IN SEVERNA PARK ROBBED

County police are searching for a man who held up a gas station in Severna Park early Saturday morning, getting away with an undeterminedamount of money.

Police say a man walked into the Shell station on Ritchie Highway and McKinsey Road at 5:12 a.m., told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money. Police say the clerk gave him money and the man ran out of the store and headed north.

The man never showed a gun, but police say he kept one of his hands in his coat pocket during the robbery.

The robber is described as a black male, about 30 years old, 6-feet tall with a gold front tooth. He was wearing an old black leather jacket and had a short beardwith white hair around the mouth area.
