Emerson A. "Bob" Wheeler, 64, died April 28 at his home. A U.S. Navyveteran of World War II, he was employed as a maintenance engineer. Survivors include daughters, Diana L. Bien of here and Sharon Blake of North Carolina; brothers, Henry Wheeler of Wyoming and George Wheeler of New Jersey; and sisters, Dorothy Stiles of Florida, Ruth Doughty and Grace DiLossi, both of New Jersey.

DATELINE: Hampstead

Walter A. Hampshire, 79, a former resident here, died Wednesday at his home in Louisiana. He was the husband of Charlotte Allen Hampshire. In addition to his wife, survivors include daughters, Nancy H. Harman and Darlene Hicks, both of Baltimore; son, Donald Hampshire of Baltimore; sisters, Mary Brewer and LaRue Beaver, both of Baltimore, Thelma Maffei and Ruth Fridinger, both of here; brother, Maurice Hampshire of here; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 8 p.m. today at the Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St. The family requests memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 280 E. Main St., Westminster.

Robert L. Roe Sr., 59, died Wednesday at Carroll County General Hospital. He was the husband of Vivian Marriott Roe. He was employed as an estimator for C. J. Miller Inc. here. In addition tohis wife, survivors include daughters, Cynthia Schleper of Pennsylvania and Jennifer Roe of here; sons, Robert L. Roe Jr. of Florida and James L. Roe of here; sister, Patricia A. Hower of Howard County; andbrother, Edmund L. Roe II of here.

Annie V. Rheubottom, 54, died Monday in Gloucester, Va. She was a retired nurse from Springfield Hospital Center. Survivors include her husband, Franklin Rheubottom; son, Christopher Beverly of Virginia; sisters, Edna Johnson of here and Helen Johnson of Howard County; brothers, Charles Young of here, Albert, Samuel and Clarence Young, all of Harford County, Frank Young of New York, and Carl Young of Anne Arundel County; and a devoted friend, Louis Beverly of Gloucester.

Charles Tumminello, 70, died Monday at his home. He was the husband of Santa Giordano Tumminello. He had been a barber and a member of the Appian Society. In addition to his wife, survivors include daughters, Cosima Tumminello of here and Santa Hickey of Taneytown; son, Vincent Tumminelloof Baltimore County; and six grandchildren.

Charles C. Glass, 62, died Monday at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. He was the husband of Betty Six Glass. A retired truck driver, he was a member of the Gettysburg, Pa., Moose Lodge. In addition to his wife, survivors include a stepmother, Sally Glass of here; sons, Richard Glass of Virginia, Marvin Glass and Michael Glass, both of here, Kevin Glass of South Carolina, and Scott Glass of Marriottsville; daughters, Rhonda Scheller, Karla Graham and Trudy Stouffer, all of here, and Joyce Weatherly of Pennsylvania; brother, James M. Glass of Frederick; half-brothers, Francis Glass of here, Joseph Glass of Baltimore County, John Glass of Delaware, Robert Glass of Frederick County and Larry Glass of Montgomery County; half-sisters, Janet Cummins of West Virginia and Barbara Atwell of here; and 18 grandchildren.

William L. Holland, 48, died April 28 at his home. He was the son of Madeline B. Holland of here and the late Raymond W. Holland. He was the husband of Carolyn Bouis Holland. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he was a real estate agent for Grempler. He and his wife also owned Town Video here. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Masonic Lodge. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include a son, Scott A. Holland of here, and a sister, Linda McGraw of Pennsylvania.

Cora L. Perkins, 86, died Monday at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was born in Carroll County. Survivors include a brother, Aaron C. Perkins Sr. of Winfield; sister, Ellen C. Perkins of Baltimore; and several nieces and nephews.

Gerald B. Boyer Sr., 61, died April 24 at Carroll County General Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia G. Boyer. Before his retirement, he was a machine operator for AT&T.; A U.S. Army sergeant during the Korean War, he received three Bronze Service Stars and several other medals. In addition to his wife, survivors include daughters, Diane R. Albert and Charlene A. Field, both of Manchester, Yvonne M. Boyer of Marriottsville, and Karen B. Reda of Eldersburg; sons Gerald B. Boyer Jr. of Woodbine and David W. Boyer of Marriottsville; brothers, Frank J. Boyer of Virginia, Noral Boyer, Harold Boyer and Charles B. Boyer, all of Anne Arundel County, Eric Boyer of Washington County and Horace R. Boyer of Idaho; sisters, Katherine Carroll and Auda Boyer of Frederick County, and Carolyn Thompson of South Carolina;and 11 grandchildren.

Beth A. Friese, 29, died April 24 from injuries received in an automobile accident near New Windsor. She was thedaughter of Phyllis Gorrell Stonesifer and Gary N. Stonesifer of here. She was the wife of Garland T. Friese. A secretary at Opera House Printing Co. here, she was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church in Silver Run. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Michael G. Friese of home; brother, David L. Stonesifer of Uniontown; paternal grandparents James E. and Doris T. Stuller of here; and a maternal grandfather, William B. Gorrell of Talbot County.

Lina R. Pheabus, 72, died April 25 at Carroll County General Hospital. She was the wife of Harry O. Pheabus. Before her retirement, she was a bookkeeper at Wampler's Furniture Store. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include sons, Terry D. Pheabus of Silverdale, Wash., Harry N. Pheabus of Taneytown, Bruce R. Pheabus and Mark W. Pheabus, both of here; daughter, SueAnn Metz of here; and seven grandchildren.

Wilson E. Gary, 92, died April 27 at Carroll Lutheran Village. He was the husband of the late Mary E. Gary. A retired certified public accountant, he was a member of University Baptist Church. Survivors include several nieces andnephews; and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Brehm of here.

Albert H. McKeever, 55, died April 28 at his home. He was the son of PaulineH. McKeever of Charlestown, W. Va. and the late Walter McKeever. He was the husband of the late Joanna McKeever. He was a heavy equipmentoperator. In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Duane McKeever of Baltimore County; daughter, Joette Ganjon of here; brother, Frank McKeever of Washington; sisters, Helen Mayhew of West Virginia and Regina Wapus of Indiana; and four grandchildren.
