Walter A. Hampshire, 79, a former resident here, died Wednesday at his home in Louisiana. He was the husband of Charlotte Allen Hampshire. In addition to his wife, survivors include daughters, Nancy H. Robert L. Roe Sr., 59, died Wednesday at Carroll County General Hospital. He was the husband of Vivian Marriott Roe. He was employed as an estimator for C. J. Miller Inc. here. Annie V. Rheubottom, 54, died Monday in Gloucester, Va. She was a retired nurse from Springfield Hospital Center. Charles Tumminello, 70, died Monday at his home. He was the husband of Santa Giordano Tumminello. He had been a barber and a member of the Appian Society. Charles C. Glass, 62, died Monday at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. He was the husband of Betty Six Glass. A retired truck driver, he was a member of the Gettysburg, Pa., Moose Lodge. William L. Holland, 48, died April 28 at his home. He was the son of Madeline B. Holland of here and the late Raymond W. Holland. He was the husband of Carolyn Bouis Holland. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he was a real estate agent for Grempler. He and his wife also owned Town Video here. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Masonic Lodge. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include a son, Scott A. Holland of here, and a sister, Linda McGraw of Pennsylvania.

Gerald B. Boyer Sr., 61, died April 24 at Carroll County General Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia G. Boyer. Before his retirement, he was a machine operator for AT&T.; A U.S. Army sergeant during the Korean War, he received three Bronze Service Stars and several other medals. Beth A. Friese, 29, died April 24 from injuries received in an automobile accident near New Windsor. She was thedaughter of Phyllis Gorrell Stonesifer and Gary N. Stonesifer of here. She was the wife of Garland T. Friese. A secretary at Opera House Printing Co. here, she was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church in Silver Run. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Michael G. Friese of home; brother, David L. Stonesifer of Uniontown; paternal grandparents James E. and Doris T. Stuller of here; and a maternal grandfather, William B. Gorrell of Talbot County.
Lina R. Pheabus, 72, died April 25 at Carroll County General Hospital. She was the wife of Harry O. Pheabus. Before her retirement, she was a bookkeeper at Wampler's Furniture Store. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include sons, Terry D. Pheabus of Silverdale, Wash., Harry N. Pheabus of Taneytown, Bruce R. Pheabus and Mark W.
