May 6: The beautiful church erected at St. Joseph's, near Emmitsburg, Maryland, will be consecrated on this day by the Most Rev. Dr. Eccleston, Archbishop of Baltimore.

May 11: The Baltimore Museum -- Mrs. J. E. Wyman, the original enchantress, is engaged for a short time, and among other wonderful and mysterious things, will cause a young gentleman to disappear.

May 5: Light Street Bridge -- At 2:10 P.M. yesterday the first sailing vessel passed through the new channel way of the bridge, being the schooner Kent, of Baltimore.

May 7: Towson is a good place to live in but there is a great want of a proper water supply. Some say that a good way to secure water as well as other conveniences for a suburban town is to have the town incorporated and to issue bonds of the corporation.
