A three-month investigation has resulted in the largest drug raid in Somerset County history and the arrests of 39 people, authorities say.

More than 100 state, county and municipal police executed search-and-seizure warrants in two areas of the county yesterday in response to complaints about illegal drug activity.

In Crisfield, 18 people were arrested on distribution and cocaine possession charges. In the Greenwood section of Princess Anne, 21 people were arrested on charges of cocaine distribution and possession.
