INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- Now Showing, ridden by Chris McCarron, rallied through the stretch for a 1 1/4 -length victory in the $35,000 turf feature yesterday at Hollywood Park.

Lady Nickle Less, with Martin Pedroza, finished second in front of Tyzown, under Gary Stevens, in a field of nine in the 1-mile race for 3-year-old fillies.

The favorite covered a firm course in 1 minute, 36 3/5 seconds to take home $19,250. The victory boosted Now Showing's career earnings to $51,900.

With her second career win in 10 races, Now Showing paid $5.40, $3.60 and $2.80. Lady Nickle Less returned $6.20 and $5, while Tyzown paid $4.40.

Now Showing, carrying 116 pounds, stayed with the early pacesetters and moved for the lead leaving the furlong marker to prevail.
