Volunteers comments: "Basically, the reason I volunteer is everyone ought to pull their weight as long as they can and evenmore so if possible," said Beiler. "I visit people in the board and care homes or foster care homes. I'm a Friendly Visitor advocate. I also help the provider at the facility. It depends on the situation and whether you can get them motivated," he said. "I take people shopping or walking across the street to run errands. I also volunteer withthe Representative Payee Program, where I help people take care of finances -- like their social security or support checks. I make sure their bills are paid and taken care of."
