A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Pasadena resident Hugh Anthony McBride at 10 a.m. April 29 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Severna Park.

Mr. McBride, 58, died of heart failure April 24 at North Arundel Hospital.

He was employed as an engineer for Bendix Corp. in Columbia for 20 years. He also served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Mr. McBride was a member of St. John's Church and past president of the Pasadena Touchdown Club.

He is survived by hiswife of 35 years, Josephine McGinley McBride; two daughters, Joanne McBride of Elvaton and Katherine McBride of Pasadena; two sons, Thomas McBride and William McBride, both of Pasadena; a brother, Bernard McBride of Northfield, N.J.; and three grandsons.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 415 N. Charles St., P.O. Box 17025, Baltimore, Md. 21203.

Arrangements are being made by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
