Hugh A. McBride Manager at Bendix

A Mass of Christian burial for Hugh A. McBride, a retired marketing manager for the Bendix Field Engineering Corp., will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Ritchie Highway and Cypress Creek Road in Severna Park.

Mr. McBride, who was 58 and lived in Magothy Forge, died Wednesday at North Arundel Hospital of heart failure.

vTC He retired about five years ago after working for Bendix for about 20 years.

Earlier, he was a staff sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean

War.

He was born in New York City and was reared there and in Philadelphia, where he graduated from St. Thomas More High School.

Mr. McBride was a former president of the Pasadena Touchdown Club.

He is survived by his wife, the former Josephine McGinley; two daughters, Joanne McBride of Elvaton and Katherine McBride of Magothy Forge; two sons, Thomas McBride of Magothy Forge and William McBride of Pasadena; a brother, Bernard McBride of Northfield, N.J.; and three grandsons.

The family suggested contributions to the American Heart Association.
