William Dolle, 70, businessman, consultant

William E. Dolle, a steam heating consultant, died Sunday of cancer at St. Agnes Hospital. He was 70 and lived on Regent Park Road in Catonsville.

Services for Mr. Dolle will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Witzke funeral establishment, 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville.

He was a consultant to Guardian Mechanical Services, a contracting company, since retiring in 1983 as the company's mechanical superintendent. He had worked there since 1969.

Earlier, he owned William E. Dolle Plumbing and Heating Co., which he started in Catonsville in the 1950s.

Born in Baltimore and educated in public schools, he served in the Army Corps of Engineers in the Pacific during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, the former Willa D. Bryant; two sons, W. Laurence Dolle of Fullerton and Stuart L. Dolle of Baltimore; a stepson, Mark D. DiDomenico of Baltimore; a stepdaughter, Sharon Hayden of Dundalk; a sister, E. Ruth Russell of Catonsville; and six grandchildren.
